Peace Lutheran School operates as a mission outreach of Peace Lutheran Church in Greencastle, Indiana. The school began in the fall of 1984 as a Preschool. In 1995 half day Kindergarten was added. In the fall of 2002 the Primary School was begun with First Grade. The following year Kindergarten became a full day program. One grade per year is being added. Currently our commitment is through Fifth Grade. The Lord has blessed us with a growing school population. We praise Him for the opportunity to work with each family to provide Quality Christian Education for their children.

Our school is part of a world wide network of schools operated by our denomination. The congregations of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod operate the second largest private school system in the United States.

We offer Quality Christian Education. Our solid academics meet and exceed state goals. We place a high value on caring teachers, small class sizes and a Christ centered atmosphere. We have high expectations of both staff and students. We have high expectations for parents to be our partners in the educational process. Our schools are a safe place teaching good moral values.Children see adults modeling a Christian life style in a loving, caring atmosphere all day long.

The teachers are here to serve the students and families. They all have a strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. All subjects are taught in the light of God's Word. We value each child as a unique creation of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and having a purpose according to the Divine Maker's plan. We value our differences as those things that make us special.
